MEN’S : Sun Hoodie

I wore the Sun Hoodie on a recent trek to Kumara Parvata and it was the perfect clothing decision. The hood covered my neck and head and kept the hot Sun at bay. I especially liked the extended sleeves that go over the knuckles along with the thumb hole, securing the fit and provides further protection from the elements. An opening at the wrist adds a nice touch to glance at the watch without any hassle.!

Wore this Athlos neon hoodie for almost 21 hours during the SRTL100 km ultra trail run, across route changing weather conditions.
It protected me from sun and wind, stayed quick-dry, and maintained the right body temperature even in cool conditions.
A truly reliable companion for long distances and long hours.
Grateful to Athlos for gear that genuinely supports runners when it matters most. 💚🏃‍♂️

Extremely comfy and well made. Perfect for Indian weather. Slight colour leaching observed around red tab after first hand wash.

Listing out a few things here.

1. It's still too heavy and hot for the Sahyadri summer. I don't know what you can do about this, I realise you need the right material for sun protection.

2. I think netted underarm portions would be good. it is hot and i sweat is a lot. air flow would be nice.

maybe vents on the side like you have on the sleeves? i don't know. shouldn't get caught on open poky branches.

3. the air vents in the sleeve are quite convenient. while moving they work well. could you have a flap/ air vent in the hood for airflow? idk if it's overkill.

4. i'm used to hiking in tank tops, so maybe the discomfort is just me not being used to this. but all i want to do is take it off when i've stopped. cause it gets hot. i wonder if a zipped version might be more functional. im imagining it in my head though, it's ugly, and your designs are beautiful.

4. I tho love your product design.

Why isn't there a women's version for this :(((( It's still a little big for me, and i'm not a skinny woman. dont know what tinier women would do. just no customer base?

I am a fan of such hoodies. I have several from other brands. I was excited when athlos launched this. But couldn’t grab one in the first wave of shipment. After some time waiting period and restocking, I ordered a newly introduced GERU colour. What a beautiful a sun hoodie it is.

I use it for running everyday now. It’s so great and garners so much positive vibe and attention from all onlookers. 😅😅. Aaaand in the gym, it just captures everyone’s eye. Just wow. Eye catching.
And I just love the slit wrist design for the watch view. So thoughtful.

One suggestion though - pls add a lockdown button near the chin so that hood stays on the top of head always. And lower the prices a bit. Or do more discounts more often.
